LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville Metro police have charged a man after his two year old son was found walking alone along a street.

Jordan L. Miller, 24, is charged with wanton endangerment.

The child was spotted around 8:15 p.m. May 4 walking into Floyd Street by a man driving in the area. The driver, who said the child was naked, wrapped up the toddler in his coat and waited with the boy for police to arrive.

Before officers got to the scene, the witness said a 12 year old came out of an house in the 1400 block of Floyd Street and took the toddler back inside. When officers knocked on the door of the house, Miller answered and said he had no idea what was going on and did not know the child had been outside the house.

Miller's arrest report says police were called to the same location about one month ago on a child left alone on the street.

In addition to the wanton endangerment charge, Miller was also arrested on a bench warrant for a DUI from a 2015 case. Bond was set at $2,500 cash on each of the charges.
