DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Jack Gerstenmaier drove in two runs and Virginia beat Louisville 7-2 on Saturday night at the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.
The third-seeded Cavaliers (37-20) scored all seven runs in the fifth inning and held on to earn their first victory in three games at the round-robin tournament.
Adam Haseley (9-3) struck out four and walked five in five innings to earn the win. His single through the right side started a run of three straight run-scoring hits during the Cavaliers' big inning.
Corey Ray homered in the seventh and Logan Taylor had a run-scoring single in the fifth for the second-seeded Cardinals (47-12), who also finished 1-2 this week.
Drew Harrington (11-2) allowed all seven runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings for Louisville.
