OMAHA, NE (WAVE) - University of Louisville swimmer Kelsi Worrell missed qualifying for the Summer Olympics in a second event Thursday night.
However, she still has a chance to do so in two others.

Worrell finished seventh in the women's 200-meter butterfly final at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Thursday night - three nights after winning the 100 fly - at CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb.

Cammile Adams won the race in 2 minutes, 6.80 seconds while Hali Flickinger was second in 2:07.50. The top two finishers in each event qualify for the Rio Olympics.

Former University of Kentucky standout Christina Bechtel finished fifth in 2:10.54 while Worrell finished two places back in 2:11.85.

Worrell still has a chance to make the Olympic team in two other events: the 50 and 100 freestyle.

Thursday she had the fifth-fastest preliminary time (54.02) in the 100 free, then posted the sixth-fastest time (54.0) in the 100 free semis Thursday night to qualify for Friday's final. Worrell, however, only had one race in between that before she swam in the 200 fly final.

The 50 free begins Saturday. She is the 10th seed in that event.
