Ledecky, Franklin, Phelps look to set, defend records. Watch WAVE 3 News Primetime Olympic Coverage

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – It’s another big night in the world of swimming.

Katie Ledecky will attempt to set another world record in the 800m free, Missy Franklin will defend her 200m backstroke title and Michael Phelps will compete for a fourth straight gold in the 100m fly and swim in the men’s 50m free.

Michelle Carter will compete in the women’s shot put final.

Meanwhile, there will be live coverage of elimination-round beach volleyball.

In diving, the women’s 3m springboard qualifying rounds will be held.
