LMPD investigating 2 overnight shootings

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - LMPD is investigating two overnight shootings. 

The first shooting happened shortly after midnight on Saturday in the 1700 block of West Hill Street. When officers arrived, they found a man in his 50's with multiple gun shot wounds. No other gun shot wounds were reported. The victim was transported to University Hospital where he remains in stable condition. 

There are no suspects and there have been no arrests made in this case.

LMPD was notified of a second shooting when a a driver flagged officers down at 13th and Jefferson Streets around 2:30 a.m. The driver indicated they had a shooting victim in the vehicle, and officers escorted the vehicle to University Hospital. There, it was determined the victim was a female in her 20's who suffered from from a single gun shot wound. 

Authorities believe the victim may have been involved in an altercation in the 1000 block of W. Muhammad Ali Blvd. 

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. There have been no arrests in the case.
