LMPD investigating if weapon was brandished behind JCPS bus

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police are investigating whether someone with a weapon followed a Jefferson County Public School bus on its after school route.

JCPS said a bus driver leaving Minor Daniels Academy noticed a black Chevrolet Tahoe following the bus as it left the school Tuesday afternoon.

The driver told JCPS someone in the Tahoe may have brandished a weapon.

Police responded, but were not able to find the SUV.
