Storage unit catches fire in Jeffersonville

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) - An early morning fire damaged part of a storage business in southern Indiana.

The fire was reported around 5:40 a.m. Friday on Hamburg Pike in Jeffersonville. The name of the business is Storage Solutions, but fire officials said the portion of the building that caught fire was leased out to another company.

Fire crews were able to call control of the fire within 30 minutes.

Investigators said a vehicle stored in the building may have sparked the fire.

No injuries were reported. Investigators have ruled out arson.
