LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Officials at UofL have advised Cards quarterback Lamar Jackson and other athletes not to sign autographs for fans, according to a report from ESPN.
Nothing has indicated that Jackson or other players have violated any NCAA rules, but school officials are taking extra caution since the explosive popularity of the football team.
Apparently, more and more fans are asking for Jackson's John Hancock in the wake of the Cards' highly successful season.
On Tuesday, a tweet on the football team's Twitter page said they would no longer accept autograph requests to ensure all the players remain eligible.

UofL is now 4-1 for the season, and Jackson has racked up some amazing stats so far this year.
The Cards' next game is Friday, October 14, when they take on Duke at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
