Kraatz was arrested around 12:25 a.m. October 13. After being given his rights, Louisville Metro police say Kraatz gave detectives a videotaped statement admitting that he shot David G. House, 58.

The shooting happened at 9:48 p.m. October 10 in the parking lot of a store at 6115 Blevins Gap Road. Detectives with the LMPD Homicide Unit say video surveillance from the store helped lead them to Kraatz.
