Beecher Terrace homicide victim identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man who was killed in a shooting at Beecher Terrace on Sunday has been identified.

The Jefferson County Coroner's office said Charles James Hill, 33, died of a gunshot wound.

Police responded to the shooting in the 400 block of West Court at about 2:40 p.m. on Sunday. They found Hill on the sidewalk there. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made in Hill's death, which marks the city's 92nd homicide in 2016.
