LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - More than 100 jobs are opening up in southwest Louisville as the area's first indoor trampoline park moves one step closer to opening.

Altitude Trampoline Park of Louisville, 4420 Dixie Highway, is bringing at least 120 jobs to Dixie Highway. The park is located in the old Bacon's building.

The 41,000 square feet building will soon be filled with trampolines, balance beams, a gymnastics area, foam pits, dodgeball and basketball courts, party spaces, concession stand and a place for parents to sit and watch their kids play.

Chuck Hall, general manager and owner of Altitude Trampoline Park, used to live in southwest Louisville and says this was the only area of town he considered when choosing a space to open the park.

"We want to do something special for folks on this side of town and do something different," Hall said.

Hall has at least 120 job openings and is also interested in hiring high school and college students. He wants to create a fun, flexible work environment for everyone.

"They (candidates) need to be able to have fun," Hall said. "Be able to interact with the kids, be safe, watch the courts and make sure everyone is doing what the rules say. If you can do that, you'll be a great addition here," he added.

Hall is still renovating the inside of the building to accommodate all of the park's activities. He expects to open to the public in mid-December.

Hall is now accepting employment applications and plans to interview candidates October 14-28. To submit an application, click here.
