2 indicted for abuse of 2-month-old infant

HORSE BRANCH, KY (WAVE) - Two people from Ohio County have been indicted for child abuse in the case of an injured two-month-old child.

Kentucky State Police said the infant was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital in February with various injuries, including fractured ribs and internal trauma.

An Ohio County Grand Jury returned an indictment for first degree criminal child abuse against Stephanie Shepherd and Nicolas Wilson, both 26.

Shepherd and Wilson were booked in the Ohio County Detention Center.
