LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two men were wounded in a late afternoon shooting in Louisville's Algonquin neighborhood.

Louisville Metro police called to the 1700 block of Patton Court just after 4:30 p.m. found two wounded men outside building 43 and 44 in the Park Hill public housing complex.

One of the men was shot multiple times, while the other sustained a non-life threatening wound. Both were taken to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.

The LMPD Major Crimes Unit is handling the investigation. If you have information about the shootings call the LMPD Crime Tip Line at 502-574-LMPD (5673). All calls to the Crime Tip Line are anonymous.
