Winter Wednesday to start with a bang of blues

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Local music lovers can rejoice at the return of WFPK’s Winter Wednesday concert series.

The season kicks off with blues singer and guitarist Adia Victoria, along with local musician Brooks Ritter, Louisville Music Award’s 2016 Singer/Songwriter of the Year.

Both bands are set to impress with a full rock sound and a belly full of blues. Watch the video above for more, as Brooks sits down with Kyle Meredith on The Setlist.

The free concert is Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Clifton Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and seating is first-come, first-served.

Drinks will be available to buy before the show, along with food from J. Gumbo's. Canned goods are requested at the door to be donated to the Dare to Care Food Bank.

The monthly series continues through February.
