Multiple people shot at Shively restaurant

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police are investigating after multiple people were shot at a restaurant in Shively.

The shooting was reported in the 2700 block of Seventh Street Road, at Agave Mexican Bar and Grill, at 10:25 p.m. Friday, according to MetroSafe.

It was originally reported that three people were shot but after speaking to witnesses and victims, Shively Police said only two were shot.

Shively police said the shooting stemmed from a fight that started inside the restaurant and spilled outside.

Police said a man was shot multiple times and taken to Sts. Mary's and Elizabeth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

They said a woman was also shot once and taken to the University of Louisville Hospital. Her injuries are also non-life-threatening.

No suspect information was immediately available.
