LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - 10 million Americans have government-sponsored health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
Costs for marketplace plans are going up on average 34 percent next year, according to a study by Avalere Health.
The premium cost for an average Silver Plan sold under the federal exchange will increase by 10 percent in Indiana, to 515 dollars per month, and by 30 percent in Kentucky to 609 dollars per month.
Only three states will see declines. Those states are Alaska, Arizona and North Dakota.
