Louisville Summer Camps

Are you looking for a camp for your kids this summer? LouisvilleSummerCamps.org has you covered. The website lists hundreds of camps available for children of all ages. There are art, sport, academic, and specialty camps in Louisville, Southern Indiana, and surrounding counties. Log on and find the right fit for your young camper.

Camp Quality

Camp Quality Kentuckiana has a great need for volunteer camp companions. Camp registration is closed for this year. This is a special camp for children with cancer or with cancer in remission. Each camper is paired with a companion who takes care of the needs of the camper, both physical and emotional. The last training is tomorrow at Gilda's Club Louisville. The camp is June 24-29.

On June 9th, 2018, Camp Quality will host the seventh annual Camp Quality Poker Run, a motorcycle fundraising event held locally to raise funds to send local children dealing with cancer to summer camp. There will be raffles, live music and an auction. 100% of money raised goes to the kids.

Home James Concierge

A new personalized chauffeur service specializing in seniors needs your help. Home James Concierge is running a pilot program of their service that's totally free in exchange for filling out a survey. You'll get 5 free round trips for your feedback. This program runs from June 4-30.

The service caters to senior citizens by having an 800 number to request a ride, instead of needing to send a text or download an app like other ride-sharing services. Drivers will take seniors wherever they need to go - church, dinner, doctor's appointments, movie theater, etc. and will also take care of things like walkers and portable wheel chairs. The drivers for the pilot program will be Lyft drivers.
