Some really nice weather taking hold of WAVE Country as I type this!
Expect a partly sunny sky today. I still see a small chance for some sprinkles to form north later today, but the amount of dry air is impressive so this will be a non-issue.
Lows tonight into the 50s for many locations with 60s in the city. Yes please!
Really nice weather for Saturday. A top 10 type of day. The sky may not be perfectly blue all day but even a partly cloudy sky will look nice with low humidity out.
Sunday will feature more higher clouds by the afternoon. The rain chance still looks late if not toward nightfall. Most of the day looks dry and slightly more humid/warmer as well.
Next week is where the fun begins...
This is when we need to watch for energy to wrap around that low and swing up into WAVE Country. There are still question of how much heating will actually take place with such a cloudy setup, but the dynamics are at least there to be mindful of a severe wind threat as well as a brief tornado. Something we will be watching closely. General winds during the day will be a bit stronger as well with the gusts...roughly 30 mph or so.
LATER NEXT WEEK:
The upper low will finally lift north. We will still be in a weak zone of high pressure (that will be to our east). This will keep the rain chance at least in the forecast for now but it looks more scattered.
High pressure re-establishes to our west. We should heat up closer to 90 once again with perhaps a few thunderstorms.
Make it a Goode Weekend!
