Dr. Elkins is originally from West Tennessee. He was born and raised around Kentucky Lake and Land Between the Lakes. Dr. Elkins did his undergraduate work at Murray Sate University. He completed over 100 credit hours in the field of ergonomics and industrial engineering.
Dr.. Elkins completed his graduate study at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa. While at palmer, he was a Dean's List Student and instructed approximately 600 students over a year and a half in chiropractic treatment adjusting technique. His Primary focus was the Gonstead Technique which provides a full-spine approach utilizing safe and effective treatment for the sick and injured. He also assisted in teaching the advanced courses within this technique while at Palmer.
Dr. Elkins previously worked at a clinic in Danville, Kentucky where he worked with the local industries, and aided management with his expertise in ergonomics to help in the prevention and treatment of work related injuries. He believes strongly in rehabilitative therapy for muscles and soft tissues.
