Come out and see Fuzzy Zoeller and his friends tee it up for charity and mark the tenth anniversary of "The Magnolia Health Systems Wolf Challenge" August 12th, 13th and 14th at Fuzzy's home course, Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Indiana.
Joining Fuzzy this year will be big hitters John Daly and J.B. Holmes along with big screen movie legends Kevin Costner and Bill Murray!
On Monday, August 14th, following play, all spectators and sponsors will be invited to the big tent for a concert which will star Kevin Costner and his band. In addition to being a star of film, Costner has formed his own band for which he is the lead singer. "I saw them perform in Tampa this February at The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am," said Zoeller. "They were unbelievable."
Kentucky native J.B. Holmes makes his first appearance at Fuzzy's event. In his rookie year he has quickly made his mark by dominating The FBR Open in Phoenix with his booming drives. He is currently ranked 2nd in driving distance on The PGA TOUR averaging an unbelievable 312 yards per drive, and has been called the "up and coming John Daly."
Fan favorite John Daly makes his third appearance at "The Magnolia Health Systems Wolf Challenge." He is currently ranked 7th in driving distance on The PGA TOUR with an average drive of 304 yards.
On Sunday, August 13th, golf professionals from The Champions Tour will join Fuzzy, Costner and other celebrities For "The GreatShot.com Pro-Celebrity Shamble." Professionals committed already include 2005 Champions tour player-of-the year Dana Quigley, Jim Thorpe, Andy Bean, Wayne Levy, Allen Doyle Gibby Gilbert and Tom Wargo. Celebrities already committed include Costner, Cris Judd, Don Most of Happy Days. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle, Richard Karn from Home Improvement and now host of Family Feud, Iowa head coach Steve Alford and Cindy Morgan, who played Lacey Underall in the original Caddyshack. In total there will be twenty-four teams competing, and additional celebrity announcements can be expected in the near future.
