Grand Ganache Glaze To Top Off Your Favorite Cake

Grand Ganache Glaze

  • 1 box (2.8 oz.) Nestle European Style Mousse Mix, any flavor
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 8 or 9-inch prepared cake or torte

Place mousse mix in a heatproof bowl. Heat whipping cream in small saucepan over low heat until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Pour over mousse mix and let stand for four minutes. Whip with wire whisk until smooth. Cool to room temperature, then stir. Set cake on wire rack placed over a large plate or tray (to catch drips). Pour glaze over top of cake. Allow glaze to run over edges so sides are completely covered with glaze. Let stand until glaze begins to set. Transfer cake to a serving plate. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
