LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Even in neighborhoods where the power is back on, regular phone service, internet and cable television are not.
We caught up with a crew working along U.S. Highway 42 near Prospect that's working to change that. They were pulling new cables, hoping to have service restored in that area by Friday night or Saturday.
Crews are working 16 to 18 hour days trying to get everything fixed, and are asking customers to just be patient.

LG&E spokeswoman Chris Whelan said service was disrupted to about 8,000 customers shortly after 5 a.m. Monday. Currently, the number of affected customers stands at approximately 170.More >>
