LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Cleanup crews have a lot of work ahead at the Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.

There are still many trees are on the ground at the cemetery on Brownsboro Road. One of them fell right on top of a row of markers damaging several tombstones, and splitting a few in half.

Officials at Zachary Taylor tell WAVE 3 they will get the area cleaned up in the next few days and will fix or replace the markers that were hit by the trees.
