Recipe from Carl Wicker in Chapin, S.C.
Prep Time and Total Time: Start to finish about 3 to 4 hours
4 lbs pork ribs
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp Texas Pete hot sauce
1 tsp oil (to grease baking pan)
(For easier cleanup, I usually spray my roasting pan spray with a butter spray, cover it with tin foil, and then spray it again.)
1. Place washed ribs in greased roasting pan, and bake uncovered at 350 F for 45 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower the flame and simmer for one more minute.
3. Remove roasting pan from oven and drain juices. Spoon sauce over over ribs and bake covered for 1 1/2 hours and uncovered for 30 minutes longer, basting once.
