LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - This day before Easter will not rank as one of the nicest weather days we have ever seen. It started with snow showers to the north and east continued with a cold rain in the 40s and will end with a cold night. There could be a little frost to the north and west of the city tomorrow morning if skies clear early enough and it will be cold near 40 for sunrise Easter services. But that sun will turn things much warmer and pleasant Sunday afternoon and the niceness will go into the middle of next week. The next front and rain chance is late Wednesday into Thursday. The current cold does not show up anytime soon in our long range forecast. That aspect bodes well for Derby week, however much too soon to eliminate rain chances for various activities.
