Crash shuts down portion of Westport Road

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A school was on a two-hour delay after a car crashed into a pole and a fire hydrant, according to MetroSafe.
Portland Christian School, located at 8509 Westport Road, was delayed due to the crash at Westport Road and Dove Creek Boulevard.

Power was out on in the area and a portion of the road around the crash had been shut down.
The condition of the driver has not been released.
