LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A school bus ended up in the median of a local interstate Thursday, and the driver was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.

It happened Thursday morning on Interstate 64 near Grinstead Drive.

JCPS officials said the driver had a medical issue but is expected to be OK.

Metrosafe said no students were aboard the bus at the time.
