LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - It’s never too late to get into the Christmas spirit. On Wednesday, Col. Sanders got in on the fun.

Kentucky’s “original” Colonel, Harland Sanders, is one of the nation’s most recognizable personas, the man behind the KFC Brand and its world reknowned fried chicken. Although the real Colonel died back in 1980, Randall Garrison, a.k.a The Bucket Colenel, has brought the icon “back to life”, dripping with the same Southern wit and charm and spreading joy and philanthropy through the art of impersonation.

Garrison, dressed as the Colonel and his wife Joyce, dressed as Mrs. Sanders, rang the Red Kettle bells at the Hobby Lobby store off East Breckenridge Street on Tuesday.
