LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police released the funeral arrangements and visitation for their detective who was killed on Christmas Eve.

Det. Deidre Mengedoht, 32, was conducting a traffic stop on I-64 in downtown Louisville when she was killed in a crash.

Her visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 30 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, located at 4400 Bardstown Road in Louisville.

Those attending the visitation should park in the Eastland Shopping Center on the corner of Bardstown Road and Watterson Trail. LMPD said they will provide shuttles from the parking lot to the visitation. Parking at Resthaven is reserved for family members.

Mengedoht’s funeral will be Monday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. at Southeast Christian Church, located at 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy in Louisville.

She will be buried immediately after the funeral at Hebron Cemetery in Bullitt County.
