LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police Department’s narcotics department recently completed a huge drug bust with some major help from K9 Franklin.

The department posted photos of the sting on the Facebook page Wednesday.

Police said Franklin helped stop what’s called a “trap car” traveling to Louisville from Miami by locating the trap under the car. Around 20,000 fake Xanax pills, which turned out to be Fentanyl pills, were discovered.
