The video today will mainly focus updates to the longer term data that continues to roll in.

Nothing significant over the next 7 days showing up as of today.

The pattern change over the North Pole continues at this hour. The question still remains on how this change will impact our weather in about 14-17 days but signals on the data we can see still indicate the risk to flip to a cold/wintry pattern. A pattern that could lock in for 30-40 days. As of now, Europe stands a greater risk at this change than the Eastern United States, but we will just have to see how this trends as data on these events is poor due to limited details.

Until then, we will have a few cold attacks that can still bring some wintry weather so it won’t be totally boring :) Just not as exciting as most of you would like I am sure.

Let’s just be careful what we wish for and hope the core of the Arctic plunge doesn’t settle too close to the Ohio Valley. That would be a cold/snow flurry pattern. We would want to be on the edge to get things for more ...excitement. We shall see...

Until then...BOTS!
