It’s that time of year again for the Girl Scouts, cookie sales are coming up.

Jackie Ford, CEO of Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana and Madison Cornell, a Girl Scout talk about cookie sales and their upcoming Desserts First event.

Desserts First is an annual event supporting local Girl Scout programs; teaching essential life skills in STEM, financial literacy, civic engagement, advocacy, education, health and wellness and the arts.

There will be a silent auction, raffle for a trip to Fairmont Chateau Laurier Canada, and the Le Cordon Blue Culinary School in Ottwa Canada, culinary treats by local chefs and a wine and bourbon pull. Master Chef winner and Louisville native Gerron Hurt will also be at Desserts First as a celebrity judge.

Admission to the event is 80-dollars, raffle tickets are 100-dollars.
