Norton Weight Management Center and 8 Up Elevated Drinkery & Kitchen
Weight loss is many people new years resolution and Norton Weight Management Center is ready to help you succeed.
Norton Weight Management Center teaches individuals to read labels, what is good fuel for the body and what kind of food to avoid.
Norton stresses the importance of not eating too much sugar, but to also have a balance. Diets don’t work for everyone, but moderation is a key to healthy eating.
Understanding how to read a food label is also important. If you can’t understand the ingredients in the package, then maybe you should rethink buying that item.
Eating fruits, veggies, and natural foods is better for the body and will keep you full until the next meal; blueberries, granola, celery, cheese sticks and peanut butter. Foods like pretzels, crackers, etc are just unnecessary carbohydrates that won’t fill you up through out the day.
A healthy suggestion to eat is grain free granola:
1 cup chopped raw pecans
1 cup roasted/salted shelled sunflower seeds
1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
¼ cup almond flour
1 large egg white
¼ cup granular erythritol and 2 drops of liquid stevia ( can also use ¼ coconut sugar or granulated sugar in place of this)
2 TBSP melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
