Kentucky awarded $9 million for mental health programs in schools
A federal grant of $9 million will be used to improve mental health services in Kentucky Schools.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A federal grant of $9 million will be used to improve mental health services in several Kentucky school districts.

Three pilot school districts - Bullitt County, Henderson County and Warren County - will be affected.

The grant will implement mental health policies and processes for those districts, including mental health support for students.

Kentucky is one of four states that received the grant.
