LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Louisville man was arrested after detectives found him with counterfeit money.
Geoffrey Martin, 32, was arrested Monday after a search warrant was obtained. Louisville Metro Police found a large amount of counterfeit United States currency, according to a court document. In addition, LMPD found a stolen checkbook.
Martin is charged with criminal possession forged instrument, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.
His bond in relation to these charges was set at $5,000.
Martin is scheduled to appear back in court on May 15.
