LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says two southbound lanes of Interstate 65 in Hardin County have been reopened following a crash that left aluminum in the roadway.

Kentucky State Police said a semi crashed into a section of cable barrier in the southbound lanes of I-65 near the 95 mile marker before hitting another semi and spilling its load of aluminum.

Southbound traffic was flowing again around 9:30 a.m., but drivers in the area should expect delays.
