LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The St. Matthews Police Department jumped into action to save some feathered friends Wednesday.

Sgt. Parsons and Officer Dale were dispatched to Shelbyville Plaza to help save some baby ducks, the department said on Facebook.

The officers had to get in the drain to get the seven babies out.

They were all in good health after the rescue.
