KICC’s first year has improved Louisville’s economy
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - One year ago today, the Kentucky International Convention Center reopened after a $207 million renovation and expansion.
Since then, the facility has hosted more than 130 groups ranging from 35 attendees to more than 10,000.
To date, the convention center has pumped an estimated $92 million into Louisville’s economy.
The expansion is also helping fuel hotel growth in Downtown Louisville.
