Council to debate 2 proposals to save Metro Parks’ ailing golf courses

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Two different plans for Metro Parks’ struggling golf courses have been presented by council members.

Under Bill Hollander’s proposal, current regulations would be stripped, opening the door for private management.

Cindi Fowler’s plan would keep the courses under city management by raising fees to generate more revenue.

Greens fees would increase by $3 at all 10 courses.

Now, council will debate both proposals.
