SHELBYVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Authorities in Shelby County are trying to identify a man who was hit by a train and killed.
According to Shelbyville police, officers were called at 12:51 a.m. to the Norfolk Southern tracks between Kentucky Street and Mac Walters Road. The victim was found laying on the railroad tracks and pronounced dead at the scene.
Shelbyville police say the man was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue shirt and brown 3/4 swede shoes.
