LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A pedestrian was taken to a hospital for treatment after being hit by a Jefferson County Public Schools bus.
It happened in the 4100 block of Cane Run Road at 6:54 a.m., according to MetroSafe.
Dwight Mitchell, a Louisville Metro Police Department spokesman, said the victim is a woman who was in the roadway. She was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No one on the bus, which was carrying students to Western High School on Rockford Lane, was injured. JCPS said the students were transferred to another bus and taken to school.
