ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WAVE) – WAKY 103.5 is back on the air.

Intense winds Wednesday were strong enough to snap the local radio station's tower in half.

The station posted on Facebook with the update that it is back on-air.

WAKY’s other channels, 100.1 FM, 106.3 FM, and 620 AM, never went down because they are fed off a different system.
