Beshear plans to restore 100,000 felons’ voting rights on Thursday

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WAVE) – Gov. Andy Beshear plans to make good on a campaign promise Thursday by signing an executive order to restore voting rights to 100,000 felons.

Beshear is expected to sign the order tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Capitol.

Right now, Kentucky and Iowa are the only states that still deny the right to vote to anyone convicted of a felony.
