LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – An up-and-coming hip-hop artist is giving back to his hometown of Louisville this holiday season.

2K Baby hosted a holiday and toy giveaway Thursday night at Iroquois High School. He loaded up his sleigh with gifts and families got to take their pick of the goodies.

“It was fun!” the rapper said. “We just hit Walmart. I just left Walmart before I came here and just went crazy. Just all types of stuff I think kids would like. Shoot, whatever they want. Throw it in there… We had like 20 shopping carts at Walmart, I ain’t gonna lie.”

2K Baby said now that he is finding success in the music business, he wanted to give back to his hometown and make sure families have a Merry Christmas. The rapper said he grew up poor in Louisville before moving to Atlanta last year and signing a music contract.
