LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man died after he was stabbed in the Parkland neighborhood.

Louisville Metro police were called to a report of a double stabbing in the 1300 block of Olive Street around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Louisville Metro Police Department spokeswoman Alicia Smiley.

Smiley said once police arrived, they found two men suffering from stab wounds.

The men were transported to UofL Hospital. One victim, a man believed to be in his 30s or 40s, died of his wounds and the other victim had serious injuries.

The name of the man who died has not been released.

LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said police had all of the involved parties.
