Arrests made after protest on Clark Memorial Bridge

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - 43 people were arrested after the Clark Memorial Bridge was shut down for more than three hours on Monday.

Just after 11 a.m. Monday morning, protesters gathered on the bridge, blocked traffic, and then hung a sign honoring Breonna Taylor’s memory.

20 cars were towed off the bridge. Three of those people arrested were juveniles.

Everyone who was arrested will face charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a highway.
