FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX19) - Bars and restaurants now have an extra hour to operate, effective immediately.

The last call for businesses is now 11 p.m., Gov. Andy Beshear announced on Tuesday.

The governor explained this will allow people to watch sports that last late into the night.

Businesses will need to be closed by 12 a.m., Gov. Beshear said.
