Clark County moves into orange status, now restricting spectators at sporting events
As of September, Clark Memorial Health reported 159 drug overdoses in Clark County, which is more than the previous two years.

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. (WAVE) - The Clark County Health Department is now limiting fans at events amid the rising COVID-19 cases.

The county moved into the orange status on Tuesday, which means tests are coming back at more than nine percent positive.

The health department says all K-12 extra curricular activities in Clark County need to be limited to event staff, player, and limited spectators.

That limit means only parents and immediate household members of the student athletes.

This only applies to Clark County Schools.

The restriction is for two weeks and will be re-evaluated on Nov 11.
