LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Money is being raised for the Louisville Metro Police Department officer who was shot while serving a warrant at Breonna Taylor’s apartment.
The LMPD Foundation said it is collecting money for Sergeant Jon Mattingly and his family.
A Facebook post by the foundation says Mattingly and his family have moved six times because they have been threatened following Taylor’s death.
Mattingly was hit in the femoral artery during the raid and was in surgery for several hours after Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, shot him.
Donations can be made through the Louisville Metro Police Foundation’s Facebook page.
