LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A new dorm at UofL will be named after one of its Hall of Fame basketball coaches.

Denny Crum Hall will be the name of the new University of Louisville residence dorm, located on Floyd Street across from the Planet Fitness Kueber Center.

It will be ready in the fall 2022 semester and will house several Cardinal student-athletes.

Crum is the Cardinals’ winningest basketball coach and has been a part of the Louisville community for nearly 50 years.

Under his guidance, UofL won national championships in 1980 and 1986.
